To meet the needs of different users, WONSOR has launched the SR-P series of programmable safety relays for small and medium-sized safety applications.
The new SR-P programmable safety relay can simultaneously access 3-10 groups of safety inputs. Due to the different safety function requirements for the accessed safety inputs, WONSOR's SafetyEditor programming software allows users to drag and edit different safety function blocks, and select safety logic functions through visual list menus and mouse drag-and-drop operations. Even safety engineers new to the field can quickly and easily write dedicated safety programs, and simulate logic function outputs afterward.
The early-launched safety relay SR-3O1CP is also a safety relay that can only access one set of dual-channel safety input. Its safety functions are limited by the safety input, only allowing connection to one set of safety emergency stop, one set of safety light curtain, or one set of safety door lock. When combined with safety outputs, the safety circuit constructed by this solution meets the requirements of ISO 13849-1 PLe and ISO 61508 SIL CL3. It also features a compact and flexible design, fully sufficient to meet the safety requirements of small equipment.
However, when the number of safety inputs increases to more than 3 groups, it is necessary to simultaneously add the same number of safety relays. This approach affects the installation space of the electrical distribution cabinet, increases more electrical nodes, hinders engineers' troubleshooting, and results in higher costs.
For us, the launch of the SR-P series programmable safety relays not only enriches WONSOR's safety controller product line but also achieves a leap in domestic substitution of imported brands. It provides more replacement possibilities for users with safety needs, reduces costs and improves efficiency, and meets the basic safety requirements of small and medium-sized equipment users.
