HardKr has learned that domestic sensor manufacturer WONSOR recently completed a nearly 100 million yuan Pre-A round financing. This round was led by Cowin Capital, with participation from Keli Sensing, Xiaofanzhuo Ventures, existing investor Linear Capital, and Chen Capital serving as the exclusive financial advisor. The funds will be used for product R&D and market expansion.

Within the industrial sensor market, international leaders like Japan’s Omron and Keyence have long held dominant positions. In contrast, factors such as the relatively short history of domestic industrial development and talent shortages have historically constrained the growth of Chinese sensor manufacturers. However, rising demand has created opportunities for domestic players, evidenced by several recent funding rounds.

Despite this progress, many domestic sensors remain concentrated in the lower-cost, generic product segment, with room for improvement in core technologies and customer service capabilities. Founded in 2020, WONSOR focuses on developing high-end domestic sensors.
